It was April 2022 when WashingtonCountyInsider.com first broke the story about a Dunham’s Sports going into the former Boston Store location. If you remember, Elder-Beerman filed bankruptcy in 2018 and the Boston Store closed in West Bend, WI in April 2018.
Dunham’s is expectedTo open within the coming month and next door, in the former MC Sports location to the west, will be an Old Navy. That story was first posted May 2, 2022 at WashingtonCountyInsider.com
Historical note: MC Sports announced that it would close its West Bend, WI store in February 2017. This was in addition to 65 other Midwest stores.
The middle lot in which Office Max is located will also change. It was first announced June 23, 2022 on WashingtonCountyInsider.com that Office Max was closing in West Bend after being one of the mainstays since 1998. Office Max staff will continue to work in Menomonee Falls.
The Office Max will have a new Ross Dress for Less.
