This shopping center is located in Downtown Brooklyn’s heart. It houses Old Navy, Marshalls and Burlington stores, Target, Uniqlo, Target and Burlington. And if your kids need a break from back-to-school shopping, stop at one of the many restaurants, including Buffalo Wild Wings, Applebee’s, and Subway, then treat them to a custom cone from Cold Stone Creamery.
2. Kings Plaza
Kings Plaza is the perfect place for your children to go to get their fall and winter clothes. The Children’s Place, Abercrombie Kids and Kids Foot Locker are just a few of the many shops that this famous Brooklyn mall offers for kids’ clothing. Best Buy is the place to go for all your back-to-school technology needs. Visit the mall’s website to do some research before you shop. You can find information about the current sales at each store. Children who need a break from shopping can take a rest at the kiddie rides near the mall’s main entrances: Level 1 Flatbush Avenue and Avenue U.
Brookfield Place is an office and shopping center complex in lower Manhattan. There are many clothing shops for men, women and children in the area, including J. Crew and Monica and Andy, both of which carry children’s lines.

Hudson Yards is home of more than 100 shops, restaurants, and other establishments. But this popular Manhattan destination offers more than just a shopping experience. The Shed, a new center of artistic invention, is located in the venue. It commissions and presents works by artists from many disciplines. Hudson Yards features many children’s stores, including Camp, which offers a cafe, interactive play area, and theatre activities and programming. H&M and Kenzo are two other children’s stores located on-site.
4. Manhattan Mall

This mall is small enough to be convenient for quick and easy shopping. Located half a block from the Empire State Building, there’s lots to see and do in the area, including sightseeing—and if the kids are up to it—a visit to nearby Macy’s in Herald Square. You’ll find a lot of history here as the mall is located on the site where the former Gimbels Department Store was located. It was open from 1910-1986.
Rockefeller Center will help you celebrate the end to summer. The center has many stores for children, such as LEGO, Posman Books (PIQ), FAO Schwarz, LEGO, Nintendo NY and Posman Books. You can also bring the kids to have some fun and maybe even find a toy. The FDNY Fire Zone is also available, which raises awareness about fire safety and sells FDNY collectibles and clothing.
The Shops at Columbus Circle, located south of Central Park, is an upscale shopping center that houses more than 50 boutiques and shops, including Camp, Tortoise, H&M, and others that offer clothing for all ages. Many shops offer personal styling, styling and other services.

The Empire Outlets, New York City’s sole outlet shopping destination, are located in walking distance from the Staten Island Ferry Terminal. The outlet has a beautiful view of Lower Manhattan. It also houses a variety brands-name stores like the Columbia Factory Store and Nike Factory Store.
The Staten Island Mall was recently renovated and is now a popular shopping destination. However, people travel from all parts of the metro to shop at it. 3. Ridge Hill
Ridge Hill is a multilevel and classic one-stop shop for back-to-school supplies, including clothing and electronics. Dick’s Sporting Goods L.L. GAP, Apple and Bean. There are many entertainment options for families, including a trampoline park, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester and a movie theatre.
