It is difficult for the staff and community to see the store close. Many have been there since 1998, when it was a standalone building.

Over the past few years there’s been a lot of change as the cOrporate Center sold in July 2021In April 2018, Boston Store/Elder Beerman, a bankruptcies store, closed. MC Sports, a neighboring store, closed. Pier 1 closed across the parking lot.
As was first reported on WashingtonCountyinsider.com in April 2022, Dunham’s Sports will be opening in the former Boston Store location. This parcel is currently being renovated. since earlier this month.
On the opposite side of Office Max, there will be a new Old Navy.
City Pointe LLC has received calls to inquire if they have a new tenant or what their plans are for leasing the space.
