Styles spoke out candidly about his female fans in a Rolling Stone interview from 2017. “How can you say young girls don’t get it? They’re our future. Our future doctors, lawyers, mothers, presidents, they kind of keep the world going.”He also shared that he enjoys having a large female fanbase sharing, and that he appreciates having them. “teenage-girl fans — they don’t lie. If they like you, they’re there. They don’t act “too cool.” They like you, and they tell you. Which is sick.”
Styles is not just against feminism, he has been known to block demeaning questions about women. During an interview with hosts Jackie O and Kyle Sandilands on Australian radio station KIIS, Sandilands tried to corner Styles by referring to his playboy image and the stereotype of women fighting over him (via Capital FM). Styles however, ended the line of questioning instantly by saying: “No, I just don’t do that, I’m sorry.”Styles’ response, though succinct and concise, shows his respect for women and his fans.
