In keeping with a broader approach to recruiting tenants — including a farm implement dealer and a child care center — Outlets Williamsburg has changed its name to Outlets and Marketplace Williamsburg.
The 31-year-old, 250,000-square-foot retail strip mall — billed as Iowa’s first outlet mall and formerly a Tanger Outlet — was acquired in 2019 by Singerman Real Estate and is operated by the Outlet Resource Group, the company said in a news release.

Both businesses share the same address at Michigan Avenue in Chicago.
Cove Equipment, a home-improvement dealer and farm equipment dealer, opened at the mall recently. Williamsburg Community Child Care Center, which provides day care for up to 88 children, was established over the summer.
The mall has added more than 10 locally owned boutiques featuring women’s fashion, gifts, home decor and antiques as well as Bryant’s Chill and Grill and Pino’s Sicilian Pizzeria, the release said.
