It’s like exploring an art gallery by wandering through the Dauphinette collections. Each garment is an artistic celebration and celebration of overlooked materials. Some looks are delicate celebrations in nature, like the flowing yellow pants with cherry blossoms and the leather dress with a 1940s mail slot. Others are more serious about everyday resources such as the upcycled, leather dress. You can see the kitchen table, which features purses made from French pastries and an ivory dress made of more than 400 eggshells. Dauphinette is a thoughtful commentary on beauty and how it abounds in our daily lives by venerating the left-overs. Alice Tecotzky

Alice + Olivia
Alice + Olivia kept their brand DNA intact with a rainbow-worthy color palette that ranges from sky blue to candy apple green. The brand also offered a limited number of mommy-and-me outfits this season. The brand’s designer, Stacey Bendet, realized her consumers are moving into motherhood. Now, she’s prepared to dress their daughters who will be the next generation of consumers. Bender is on a roll and wants her brand to be remembered for generations to follow. There was also a contrast in the women’s pieces between jewel tone cocktail dresses and rugged denim looks with a feminine twist like crystal tassels. Kristopher Fraser

AnOnlyChild
Maxwell Osborne’s anOnlyChild was an eclectic mix of looks that ranged from streetwear to high street. Osborne was inspired summer nights and wanted to create a collection that could appeal to a wide range of ages. Osborne’s opening look was a gold satin capelette, pleated dress with wide leg trousers and gold satin wide pants. This set the tone for opulence throughout his show. This was evident in everything, from sateen pintuck gowns to medallion-print scarves. Although the line launched last fall, the standing ovation following the finale is a strong indication of its staying power. Kristopher Fraser
