The “About Damn Time” singer made herself laugh while complimenting her friend’s album. She told fans that she loved the project live on IG and paused a bit to laugh. “he put the whole harrussy into that album.”
The 34-year old also stated that she was flipping her hair. “I love his new album,”The ex-One Direction singer, 28, was praised. Fans commented on how adorable their friendship was as she spoke.
However, this wasn’t the first time either of the friends had openly admired and supported the other. While they are yet to release a song together, they’ve had several on-stage moments and have covered each other’s songs in the past.
They performed together
Lizzo and Styles are fans of each other’s music and have been for a while now. Styles was featured on the Live Lounge series in 2019. BBC Radio 1 To promote his “Fine Line” album. It was his second studio album, which he released December 13, 2019.
The “Watermelon Sugar” singer performed a special cover of Lizzo’s song “Juice”He was cheered on enthusiastically by his fans. He performed the song again in January 2020 with Lizzo, but this time he was accompanied by her.
Lizzo told the crowd during a show in Miami that he was Lizzo. “Hold up, I need to bring somebody out.”Then, she introduced the “As It Was” singer on stage, “Ladies and gentlemen, Harry Styles!”The performance and their friendship were cherished by fans.
He Sings, She Covered It
During her performance, BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge the month after, Lizzo returned her friend’s favor by covering “Adore You”From his “Fine Line” album. Fans were surprised when she changed the lyrics. Although the original lyric was not published, it was rewritten. “Oh honey / I’d walk through fire for you,”Styles is Lizzo’s love language, which she expressed through singing. “Oh Harry / I’d walk through fire for you.”

Later, she was interviewed by KISS FM, a UK radio station. During the interview, she was questioned about her plans to collaborate with Styles for her upcoming album “Special,”to be released on July 15, She teased, “The collab happened last night,”She laughed. She continued, “Guys… I got too many inappropriate jokes.”
When asked about a “collab,”She laughed again and said, “We collabed. His [bleep] in my [bleep]hole.”The interview was followed by a visit to the 2020 BRIT Awards where the pair shared funny and flirty moments on camera. The two leaned on each other and held hands as Lizzo casually kissed Styles’ hand.
Their Coachella Moment
They performed together at Coachella in April 2022, and it was clear that there was a collab. Styles surprised his fans by inviting Lizzo onto the stage during their performance. They performed “I Will Survive”Gloria Gaynor, and the One Direction hit single, “What Makes You Beautiful.”
They wore matching pink outfits and feathered jackets to complement each other. The pair made an appearance on the Audacy podcast, Lizzo spoke about the moments leading up to the collab. She recalled being amazed that Harry wanted her to perform with him.
“The crazy thing is, it really was genuinely a surprise for me too because I think I found out Wednesday night, and then I was rehearsing. ‘Cause I was genuinely going to Coachella to see Harry.” She also recalled their previous moments covering each other’s songs. “He did a cover of ‘Juice’ and then I did a cover of ‘Adore You,’ and then we did ‘Juice’ together.”
