Fashion whizz EricaThe worst things you could wear was revealed, and it’s bad for skinny jeans.
She said: “There’s nothing worse than feeling like you look dated.”
Jeans too ripped
Erica said that a few minor rips are okay, but if your leg is more than half way out of your jeans, it’s time to hang them up.
“The gigantic holes are completely out of style, no one’s wearing those anymore,”The fashion whizz said.
Rounded toe shoes
Erica said: “The rounded toe, although a classic, feels a bit dated right now.”
The style will likely be trendy again in the future, so it’s worth keeping any rounded-toe boots or shoes you love. Just don’t wear them now.
Platform heels
Platform heels are no longer trendy, but they were a fashion statement that you can love or hate.
You probably can’t walk well in them, so is it really that much of a loss?
Trainers with a woven design
When people started to wear them, the wedge-trainer hybrid caused a lot more controversy.
They’ve been out-of-fashion for a while so it’s time to get rid of them.
A chunky, heeled boot is a better option if you are taller and more comfortable.
Skinny Jeans
Erica stated, “I’m referring to the painted on, second skin type of skinny jeans.
“Those are the type that are out.”
The professional explained that you can still wear skinny jeans if the jeans are tapered and leave enough room for your legs.
Best Choice | Chilliwack Down Bomber Coat in black with stretch rib waistband and cuff, exterior pockets, adjustable tunnel hood Shell: 50% polyester, 50% cotton |
Cold shoulder tops
This style is still loved by many people and isn’t trendy.
Instead, opt for a simple camisole or a loose t-shirt. You don’t have to wear these tops any more.
Animal print
According to the fashion expert, animal prints are no longer popular.
“It’s always a classic to wear a belt or shoes, but just not blouses, blazers or trousers.”
If you are unable to part with the print, just keep a small amount.
Micro bags
These bags were pretty useless.
What’s the point of a bag you can’t even fit your phone into?
They’re out-of-fashion now so don’t even consider dusting them off.
Tie-dye
It’s time to get rid of all your lockdown tie dye projects. “it was a fad,” Erica quipped.
“I just wouldn’t go out and buy anymore tie-dye, so if you’re looking at it, just skip it now.”
Bike shorts

They may be comfortable and keep your cool when it’s hot, but you should only wear them if you’re actually riding a bike.
Erica said: “This trend was always confusing to me.”
