When Conner Ives, 26, grew up in upstate New York, he fantasised about London’s simmering fashion scene. Eight years after moving to London, the Central Saint Martins graduate lives the dream.
It’s true, he’s been living it for a while. During his second year of university Ives set up his label, dressed Adwoa Aboah for the Met Gala and was part of the design team at Rihanna’s Fenty. “I had to keep my cool,”He speaks highly of his time working at the LVMH label. “I normalised it all very quickly so I could do my job. You can’t have a fangirl moment when you’re sitting across the table from Rihanna.”
