Santa will light the 55-foot-tall Christmas Tree in Outlets at Castle Rock on Saturday November 14.

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. — It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Outlets of Castle Rock.
The center’s 55-foot white fir Christmas tree arrived Tuesday, Nov. 3 via flatbed truck from northern California.
The tree was selected from Shasta Trinity National Forest as part a forest management project. It was nearing the end its lifespan and was used to clear forest space for smaller trees. This forest process helps keep the forest healthy and frees up more forest space.
Castle Rock Outlets reported that multiple white fir trees had been planted in its place.
The tree is 10 feet taller then the Denver Convention Center’s big blue bear. Outlets at Castle Rock explained that while it may seem early for the tree to arrive, it takes several weeks just to trim such large trees.

Santa Claus will light the lights on Saturday, November 14th at 5:15 pm.
Viewing spots will be spaced six feet apart and will be located near the tree and across the parking lot near Levi’s and Polo Ralph Lauren. Hot cocoa will also be available for purchase.
According to Castle Rock Outlets the Christmas tree will be there until the end, according to the company.
